The Third Place development is a joint initiative between Zion Christian Centre and key community partners spearheaded by Phase Trust.

Phase Trust

Phase Trust is now in its eleventh year of providing services to young people in the Dudley Borough area, having developed into a well established and well regarded work in the local community.  Phase Trust will run the proposed Youth facilities in The Third Place development, with the new facilities enhancing its capability in providing services such as:

• Mentoring programme
• Sexual health advice and support
• After school services
• Youth Clubs
• Assemblies
• Workshops on bullying, stress and other key issues faced by Young People
• Sports facilities

Windsor High School

Windsor High School is a high-performing multi-specialist school in Halesowen for 11-18 year olds. Specialisms are Sport, Science and applied learning.  Windsor is a designated Training School.

Windsor is a current Funding partner for Phase Trust, especially the ID Mentoring Programme and making referrals to Phase Trust’s activities.

The Third Place development would help fulfil a plan to run school-day inclusion learning support.  There are also plans for it to be a base for a new Joint Volunteering & Community Leadership programme, towards AQA accreditation for 16-17 year olds, with the new 6th Form currently under construction.

Teenage Pregnancy Unit: currently funding Phase Trust to deliver sexual health advice, an on-going in-principal revenue funder committed to using the facilities for training / outreach.
