Children and Family facility partners and stakeholders

The redevelopment of children’s and family zones within The Third Place are led by Zion Christian Centre, which has been involved in children’s service provision in the town of Halesowen for thirty years. However there are a range of other organisations that are stakeholders in this development:

  • Elim Pentecostal Church - principal long-term loan financier, pledging up to £1million towards The third Place, Halesowen. Elim website
  • Relive Resources, training children’s workers and making the Bible relevant to children’s lives via drama and interactive programmes. Relive Resources website
  • Creative Shows – children’s entertainer. Creative Shows website
  • Hands at Work – supporting Aids orphans in sub-Saharan Africa. Hands at Work website
  • Options for Life - a charity offering a range of services to adults with learning difficulties. A number of service users bring their families to events at the current facilities. Options for Life website

Information on Zion Christian Centre can be viewed in the Who we are section of this website.

A range of local primary schools are stakeholders in the Children’s and Families Third Place development through their service commissioning with Phase Trust, a charity based on the current site.

For a number of years, Zion and Phase have wanted to improve facilities for disabled children, and parents have been widely consulted on the types of facilities that are needed to provide them with a more dedicated and suitable range of facilities and resources.
