Community amenities at the heart of HalesowenHalesowen is a town that needs a third place for a diverse range of people to meet as a community... somewhere away from the home and workplace. A place to eat, to talk, to listen and discuss, interact, learn and receive care, compassion and entertainment. The Third Place is a bold venture designed to provide a wide range of community facilities to complement other Halesowen town centre facilities such as the leisure centre, shops and restaurants. The vision for community has arisen from a range of longstanding third sector organisations that have a shared desire to see greater provision, in particular for the poor and underprivileged members of society, evidenced by the 2009 launch of the Black Country Food Bank.
