New facilities

The Third Place Community Base development will deliver dedicated community spaces including:

• Rooms for delivery of health services
• Spaces for community groups including a small room for Pilates and other keep fit activities
• Opportunities for learning and development

The Church and Conference Centre development will add:

• Social spaces including a coffee shop
• A hair salon and book shop
• A 600 seater auditorium and range of small meeting rooms for community use or hire

The External Sports and Play Area will provide:

• An outside MUGA - Multi Use Games Area for various sports, exercise and social interaction
• A skate park, cage football and traverse climbing wall - providing team building, challenges and recreational activities

These community facilities will provide Halesowen and its population of 60,000 people an unparalleled conference venue, range of meeting rooms, places to meet and learn, opportunities for care and treatment and to socialise. This with the sports facilities to complement the leisure centre opposite, completes a range of accessible community facilities at the heart of the town, with a wide range of public transport and in walking distance from the shopping centre.
